The cornerstone of our Monster Concert & Carnival, held every October, is a concert featuring orchestras from Vertical Team elementary and middle schools as well as the various orchestras at Austin High School, bringing the broader orchestra community together to celebrate our students.
In addition, the Monster Concert features a carnival with a variety of games and delicious food. During the weeks leading up to the Monster Concert, students and parents from the AHS orchestras build an incredible and popular haunted house.
The Monster Concert and Carnival is one of our most important fundraising events. All proceeds support the Orchestra program at Austin High School.
