A fun-filled day for 4th and 5th graders interested in orchestra.
No previous experience necessary!
Every year, on a Saturday in January, Austin High Orchestra hosts a special one-day string camp for young students who may be interested in joining orchestra in middle school. It’s perfect for beginner musicians or students who’ve never played an instrument but think they might want to. Students can join us to try out instruments, learn very simple music, and perform in a mini-concert at the end of the day.
