Fall Semester Concerts

Orientation Concert

The first concert of the year, in mid September, is an opportunity for parents to see their student play (possibly for the first time), and to learn more about the program, the upcoming year, and ways to get involved. You’ll hear from the parent board president and the Orchestra Student Council.

Dia de los Muertos Festival of Orchestras

A tradition at Austin High School since 1987

Formerly known as the Monster Concert, our fall fest features orchestras from Vertical Team elementary and middle schools as well as the various orchestras at Austin High School and other youth programs, bringing the broader orchestra community together to celebrate our students.

Winter Concert

Each December, orchestras from Austin High and our Vertical Team elementary and middle schools gather to perform a diverse mix of holiday music. With lit-up bows and sing-a-longs, it’s always a fun time sure to get you in the spirit.

The event is one of our important annual community building events, and we rely on student and parent support to make it a success.
