A fun-filled day for 4th and 5th graders interested in orchestra.
No previous experience necessary!
On Saturday, January 18th, from 9 am-2 pm Austin High Orchestra is hosting a special one-day string camp for young students who may be interested in joining orchestra in middle school. It’s perfect for beginner musicians or students who’ve never played an instrument but think they might want to. Students can join us to try out instruments, learn very simple music, and perform in a mini-concert at the end of the day.
The cost is $35 per student to cover our expenses. Use the form on this page to register and pay the fee.
Students will be provided with a mid-morning snack and lunch.
A detailed schedule for the day will be coming soon, but know that we’ll hold a mini-concert for family and friends at 1:30 pm.
