Full Orchestra Concert and UIL Details
In the spring, the orchestras perform at least 3 concerts for parents and the community.
- February: Full Orchestra Pre-UIL Concert, including students from the AHS Band
- March/April: String Orchestra Pre-UIL Concert
- May: Spring Concert; see below
The pre-UIL performances give parents a chance to see the students’ hard work and gives students more opportunity to prepare for the competitions. Check the calendar for concert dates.
AHS Orchestra Spring Concert
One of our biggest concerts of the year is our final Spring Concert. The various orchestras perform new music, including music composed or arranged by students, and some members perform ensemble pieces. It’s a wonderful opportunity to see the results of a year of hard work and dedication, and for students to showcase their creativity and unique talents. Check the calendar for concert dates.
