We are so excited to see our students perform in their first concert of the year! You’ll hear from Ms. Solis, the parent booster board, and the orchestra student council on plans for the year and how you can help this amazing program at Austin High thrive and have a successful year!
Location: Austin High School Performing Arts Center (PAC)
Attire: Orchestra performance uniform:
- Girls = black orchestra dress (bring black dress from home)
- Boys = tuxedos and white dress shirt (bring white shirt, black socks and black shoes)
- All students need black shoes
- If you did not attend camp and do not have a uniform assigned to you, please see Ms. Solis.
Schedule: Students will stay after school and eat dinner, provided by the Orchestra Boosters, before the concert.
- 4:35 – 4:50: Stage set up (orchestra board crew)
- 4:40 – 5:30: Light dinner in the Orchestra Room and change into uniforms
- 5:40 – 6:20: Dress rehearsal on PAC stage
- 6:30: Concert begins
- 7:45: Approximate end of concert
- 7:45: Clean up stage, orchestra room, change into regular clothes, and return uniform to Uniform Room, sign out.
